What is the "Live" Communicator technology?
"Live" Communicator is a customizable technology engine that delivers high quality flash based voice over the internet (VoIP) and video conferencing technology featuring a user friendly environment that creates a vibrant online communication system for learning. The "Live" Communicator Internet based technology suite is capable of delivering high quality and "live" video and audio communications to any Windows or Macintosh computer using the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome or Safari browsers.
What computer equipment do I need in order to use "Live" Communicator?
All you require is a high speed Internet connection (low bandwidth will enable the text chat features but not the audio and video components of the service), A Macintosh or Windows based computer with the latest version of "flash" installed (most computers come with pre-installed flash) and the latest version of either the Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome or Safari Internet browsers.
